Monty

Vijf jaar na het bejubelde Raum (2006) maakt choreograaf Marc Vanrunxt Zeit, een duet van Eva Kamala Rodenburg (Raum, Extraction) en Igor Shyshko (voormalig danser bij Rosas). Als vertrekpunt kiest Vanrunxt voor het gelijknamige dubbelalbum van Tangerine Dream uit 1972.

Tangerine Dream is een vroege elektronische pop/rockgroep uit Duitsland die mee de basis heeft gelegd voor de elektronische muziek zoals we die nu kennen gaande van Kraftwerk en Brian Eno tot Radiohead en Recoil. ZEIT gaat over de menselijke eenzaamheid en nietigheid in het universum, en over tijd, ruimte, duur, afstand, stilte, volume, gradatie, gewichtloosheid…
