Beyond the Black Box

Info for our English speaking audience

From 2 to 5 May, Beyond the Black Box settles in Antwerp for the third time! During the four-day festival, you will discover artists who venture off the beaten track. They experiment with stimulating crossovers between theatre, performance and visual art. The festival challenges you to look at art differently. Be surprised by work in unexpected places or moments and come and experience with an open mind what more art can be.

Sign up for the PZAZZ writers’ workshop

During Beyond the Black Box around 15 performances communicate with their audience in unexpected ways. Not your cup of tea? Don’t know what to think of ‘performance’ or how to react when you’re looking at it? Not if you take part in the workshop ‘performance watching/criticism during this festival’.

The workshop, put together by PZAZZ.theatre, is open to anyone who loves theatre or visual art and wants to get more insight into new experiments in the borderline between the two. Curious? Check here for more details and all practical information.
